Working together: What to expect

Understanding individual investment goals and objectives

Every client is different and so are their investment goals and objectives. In our initial meeting, we will work towards a complete understanding of your short and long term investment goals; including your timeframe, income requirements, liquidity, risk tolerance and expenses.

Implementing strategy

Once your objectives have been determined, we can decide on the proper asset allocation of equities and fixed income, and develop your investment policy statement (IPS). The IPS serves as a guideline for all decisions regarding your portfolio and your Portfolio Manager will work within its guidelines.

Ongoing portfolio maintenance and monitoring

We consistently monitor and review the portfolios of every client, as both the needs of our clients and market conditions change. You will meet regularly with your Portfolio Manager to discuss these changes and implement appropriate changes to your portfolio. We ensure you are comfortable and confident with decisions affecting your investments.

We also connect frequently through a combination of conference calls, webinars and investment outlook events.

Philanthropy

Heward prides itself on a track record of exemplary corporate social responsibility. As a good corporate citizen, the firm approaches its community with the same rigour that factors prominently in its investment philosophy.

The firm actively supports various philanthropic organizations, including:
