Anita Milkova is the Supervisor, Portfolio Administration at Heward Investment Management. She brings more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, with extensive expertise in portfolio accounting, investment operations, and regulatory compliance.
Originally from Sofia, Bulgaria, Anita holds a Master’s degree in Economics (Money and Finance) from the University of Nancy II in France. She also earned a Certificate in Financial Management from HEC Montréal. She has completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) through the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI) and, in 2025, successfully completed the Chief Compliance Officers Qualifying Examination.
Before joining Heward Investment Management, Anita spent nearly 18 years in senior leadership roles at ARX Capital Inc., where she served as Director of Portfolio Accounting before being appointed Chief Compliance Officer in January 2026. Earlier in her career, she gained experience in international trade, economic analysis, and financial and microeconomic consulting with the Institute for Economic Analysis and the Commission for Protection of Competition in Sofia, Bulgaria. Having settled in Canada in 2004, Anita now leverages her extensive experience to help uphold the highest standards of operational excellence and regulatory compliance at Heward Investment Management.
