James C.G. Heward
President
James is a third generation Heward and head of a portfolio management firm that traces its roots back to 1925. James Heward started his career with Canada Trust in 1983, where he specialized in personal and pension trusts. In 1989, James Heward joined Heward and became President in 1993. Today, James is responsible for overall operations and business development, including: strategic direction, product development, marketing and client relations. James Heward serves on the Montreal Children’s Hospital ‘Best of Care’ Board, the Weredale Foundation, and is a past President of both the Canadian Association of Family Enterprises (CAFE) in Montreal and the Estate and Planning Council of Montreal. He has also served on the Portfolio Management Association of Canada (PMAC) Board.
